Missed a very rare opportunity to sail Spot "B" with Ed earlier in the week, he had the place to himself while I was being a good dad.

Christmas at Spot XYZ.
It's been a wild week for weather at times, Ed and I got a session in at Spot XYZ on Thursday (29th) on our smallest boards, 69l and 68l respectively, but even these felt too big at times. I regretted not walking back to the car to get my 3.7m² when Ed went for his 4.0m², as the 4.2m² I had up became too big for the conditions.

Back on the water
Given the green light to resume activity this week, so had the first windsurf for 6 weeks. Conditions were not great, as it was onshore, which was probably a good thing given the size of the swell we have at the moment, sailed up and down the beach in the shallows for around an hour.

Spot XYZ....
Not many made it out today, but crews from both North and South of the river made the best of the conditions. Neap tides at the moment, so not enough water to let the swell in, but still more fun than the alternative of an onshore session at the beach.
